What is a CNC router & what can it do?
A computer-controlled machine that uses a fast turning spindle to cut forms & shapes into material along different axis. It is similar to a drill-bit and rotates at speeds of tens of thousands RPM.
Below are the answers to a lot of the common questions we get but don't hesitate to contact us as we are always available to give you additional information and advice.

2D cutting uses flat vectors to cut forms at a specified depth along the X & Y axis.
3D cutting moves through the Z (height) axis as it travels the X & Y.
The difference between a circle and dome.
We house an 8′ x 4′ machine – 1220 x 2440mm machine. Allowing us to cut standard sheet material up to that size.
We can cut a thickness up to 150mm of material.
We can machine multiple sides using flip cuts, just let us know what you want when you detail your project to us.

Got something else in mind? Get in touch.
Yes, that’s no problem. Be sure to let us know what you plan to hand over.
Of course, just let us know that’s what you want when you contact us.
We partner with local painters and sprayers so you don’t have to worry about that part. We don’t take a cut on this so you get it at an extremely fair price!
The time it takes to machine different materials can vary drastically. The more difficult to machine, the more time it takes and therefore higher cost. Generally speaking denser materials take longer.
We’ll always aim to give you the most fair price in any estimate we give you.

That’s no problem at all, we can convert sketches to drawings for a cost. We will supply an estimate to you if you let us know more details.
Of course, just contact us via phone or email and we will be happy to discuss the project.
That’s part of our promise. Let us know where and we will cover the logistics and provide you with a quote.
We require a 50% deposit before starting a job and then you have another 30 days to complete the rest of the payment.
We accept bank transfer and will start the job once funds have been cleared.
We set our rates primarily based on machining time at £60/hr.
There is a machine set up fee of £15 per job.

Attach any files you may have that will help us. These could be CAD files or even drawings on napkins.
Tell about your project. What context will it be used in? Exterior/interior? Structural/decorative? The more detail you include the better we can help you.
Add what material you would like you project cut from. If you don’t know, just ask what we would suggest. Add what material thickness you would like too.
How many of your files/drawings would you like cut?
